I am a consultant paediatrician with training and expertise in Paediatric cardiology currently working at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital. I completed my primary training in India in 1978 and subsequently practiced in India, and the MiddleEast. I moved over to the UK in 2004.

Research/Publications
I have contributed to cardiology chapters in the on line Medscape Text book of Paediatrics as well as other paediatric and cardiology textbooks. These chapters are on cardiomyopathy, mitral valve prolapse, pericardial effusion, pulmonary stenosis, and the nutritional impact of heart diseases.
I have authored around 100 Medline indexed publications and am co-author to the textbook ‘Clinical cases in Paediatrics: DCH Clinical Examinations’.
Education
I take an active role in teaching and medical education and was made an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Brighton & Sussex Medical School. This involves regularly teaching medical students. In addition, I am a clinical supervisor and educational supervisor for trainee doctors.
I have pioneered the training of doctors and allied health professionals through the several online and face to face courses that I run. I also the invited Faculty for RCPCH training courses.
I am also a Senior Examiner for the RCPCH examinations for the UK and overseas, which involves setting high quality examinations and examining Paediatricians in training to become a consultant.

Dr Anna McCorquodale
I am a driven and hard-working Consultant Paediatrician with additional expertise in neonatal medicine, cardiology and acute paediatrics currently working at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.
I am actively involved in mentoring and guideline development and strive to continue contributing to these areas.
I have been involved in teaching since graduation, I have completed GIC and advanced educational supervision courses. In late 2023 I was appointed as Royal College Tutor following interview & continue to occupy this role.

I have published papers in leading medical journals along with contributed to ‘Don’t forget the bubbles’ by authoring ‘Approaching the paediatric ECG’.
Education
I regularly teach undergraduates and post graduates at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, along with being invited to present on many ECG and arrhythmia courses. I am an NLS instructor and have provided many START supervision/support sessions. I have previously been involved in combined GOSH PICU/NICU/CATS teaching meetings along with PSIC group teaching sessions.

Dr Brian McCrossan

I trained in Paediatric Cardiology at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. In addition I have completed two fellowships during my training: One year at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and a further two year fellowship in paediatric cardiac catheter interventions in Dublin.
I have been awarded the Colonel Davis Scholarship for research in 2009 and am currently an honorary lecturer at Queen’s University Belfast.
I have published widely in international journals across a range of topics in congenital heart disease and am frequently invited to speak at international/ national conferences & training courses. I maintain a keen interest in medical research with particular interests in telemedicine, genetic syndromes associated with heart disease and psychological impact of heart disease on children and their families.

Dr Hamad Khan

Praveen completed his undergraduate medical education and post-graduation in Paediatrics in India.
